The Three S’s of Climate Change: Simple, Serious, and Solvable
Featuring A. Scott Denning
Scott Denning is Monfort Professor of Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University. He is author of over 100 publications in peer-reviewed climate literature, a former editor of the Journal of Climate, and founding Science Chair of the North American Carbon Program. He has served on advisory panels for NASA, NOAA, the US Department of Energy, and the National Science Foundation.
In an engaging and easy-to-understand style, Scott Denning explains 1. The reasons for climate change, which are simple and easy to demonstrate; 2. Why it's also extremely serious the more we acknowledge the massive consequences of even a few degrees average warming; and finally, 3. How solvable this crisis is. But do we have the moral courage to act?
